Cedar Rapids Jefferson J-Hawks 7-0-0 vs Davenport Central 7-0-0

November 5th, 1965

Final Score: Jefferson 20 - Central 18

Happy 50th Anniversary

The class of 1966 was defined by many things and many people. We accomplished them together and as individuals. Our tapestry is woven of many fibers seen and unseen, known and unknow. We had a wide scope of interests yet we became one class with a sense of pride in each others accomplishments.

One Stands the test of time as the defining moment of our class. This year marks the 50th Anniverary of the day WE achieved this destiny. Some were players that sweat and worked with the dedication of a champion. Some were loyal J-Hawks that followed us and cheered us on to be better then we ever dreamed possible. The secret was we needed each other.

This day WE became ONE Forever, WE ARE J-HAWKS

To this very day, WE are talked about by every generation of J-Hawks that have passed through those doors. WE left a mark that is unparalleled to this day. Let it be known that their were 551 J-Hawks (The Class of 1966) that left this mark. Each and everyone of you can be proud and carry it with pride.

YOU set the standard by which every J-Hawk is measured.

To each of you I dedicate this website, enjoy the memories.
